Deepesh Kholwadwala is the President & CEO of Dreamcatcher Hotel Group and Sun Capital Hotels with expertise in hotel feasibility, planning, financing, construction, and operations.
Deepesh serves on the La Quinta Brand Council (2006-2012), IHG Owner’s Association Board of Director, Chairman of the Candlewood Suites Committee, New Mexico Lodging Association Board of Director, Capital CDC Board of Director, and First American Bank Advisory Board Executive. Deepesh continually sharpens his leadership skills as part of his professional growth curriculum. Deepesh completed the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration Real-estate Development Program (2007, 2010), and Emory Institute Goizueta Business School Executive Global Leadership program in 2009.
Manuel Mendoza (Profit Manager) joined Sun Capital in 2013 to build and support revenue growth. His core focus is to provide the operational implementation of our financial strategy. Earlier in his career, Manuel was the Area Manager for IHG to support 30-40 hotels including Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Holiday Inn Select. Manuel is an authority in managing quality, revenue, new hotel opening, system implementation, market studies and training. He joins Sun Capital with over 20 years of hospitality experience.
Stephanie Gerdts (Director of Sales and Marketing) has over 20 years of hospitality industry with experience developing and expanding new or existing accounts. Stephanie’s approach involves personalized client attention, innovative sales strategy, and creative marketing concepts. Her successful sales efforts center on understanding and anticipating customer needs, as well as identifying upcoming market trends and opportunities. With a background as hotel general manager, she has been able to work closely with each hotel so that mutual efforts are coordinated.
Linda Phillips (Accounting Manager) graduated from Lorenz University in 1989 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She also holds licenses as a Financial Operations Principal, Municipal Principal, General Securities Sales Representative as well as Financial Advisor. She has over 27 years in accounting and is responsible for all accounting functions in our organization. Her fiduciary responsibility is to protect hotel’s financial assets by implementing proper accounting procedures according to G.A.A.P. guidelines. Her challenges are to improve budgets, improve controls in regards to expenses and to provide internal audits as a way to maintain transparency at the hotels.

Victor M. Delgado (Corporate Guest Satisfaction Manager) Victor’s core focus is to ensure that all of our hotels operate within the top 10% ranking nationally and to implement and administrate Life Safety procedures at each hotel. He previously served as the General Manager of the Holiday Inn Express Las Cruces, NM, has 15 years of hospitality industry experience. Working from a front desk position early in his career, Mr. Delgado has moved through all operational management areas from Assistant General Manager, to General Manager in both limited service and extended stay hotel properties.
Under his leadership several of his hotels have received awards for quality and operational excellence including the Marcus Corporation’s Chairman’s Award in 2001, 2002 and 2003. Victor has shown innovation working with his staff in order to produce profit and quality results – many times beyond expectations. Revenues have increased as much 100% under his leadership at the Candlewood Suites, Roswell while winning the #1 spot in the chain for overall guest satisfaction.
